On October 12, the College played host to a congressional debate between challenger Randy Altschuler and incumbent U.S. Representative Tim Bishop (D-Southampton). The debate, which took place in the D’Ecclesiis Auditorium on the Long Island Campus, was televised live on FiOS1. At stake in the hotly contested race is a seat in the House of Representatives representing New York’s 1st Congressional District.
