Mary Ann Malack-Ragona ’97 recently celebrated her 10th anniversary as CEO and executive director of the Bay Shore-based Alzheimer’s Disease Resource Center. Mary-Ann began her college education at the age of 44, graduating with honors from the Long Island Campus with a bachelor’s degree in organizational management and a minor in human resources management. She later earned, an M.B.A. from Long Island University’s C.W. Post Campus.

Jennifer Leeb Veit ’99
Jennifer Leeb Veit ’99 and her husband, Eric, were both recently appointed to the board of directors for Skyler’s Gift Foundation, which provides funding for mortuary and burial costs, as well as grief counseling and support groups, for families who have endured the loss of premature infants. Skyler’s Gift Foundation also raises funds for research and advocacy to increase life expectancy for babies born prematurely. Renee Gold Kantro ’98 (L.I.) was recently appointed to the executive board of the Friends of the Fire Island National Seashore (FFINS). She is an admissions counselor, adviser and preceptor for St. Joseph’s School of Professional and Graduate Studies. Renee and her husband, Richard, enjoy bird-watching, bicycling and taking nature hikes around Long Island.
